With a widely deployed IP infrastructure comes the need to understand traffic patterns and the resulting performance across the network.

In many cases the network components themselves can be enabled to collect information so IsarFlow delivers a reporting and analysis tool that collects this information from NetFlow enabled devices and presents the results in easily digested graphical and tabular formats.

In other cases it is not the traffic flow information that provides the key to understanding performance. It is the very nature of the Business Transactions being carried out such as invoice, stock or quotations related to how the user experience of the whole transaction is perceived. This means performance needs to be analysed by defining the overall transaction sequence at the workstation, the mid-range and back end servers so that causes for reduced performance can be isolated and rectified - whether bandwidth, processor power or application structure related. This is where the VitalSuite range of solutions can be brought to bear.
